Easy Two-Pedal Operation
Shifting is easy with the innovative two-pedal system. It requires less
training time, and reduces driving fatigue—critical for maximizing
profitability and safety.
Manual or Automatic Mode
With the SmartShift® system, you can choose to change gears manually, or let the
AGS do it for you--all with the easy-to-use SmartShift® lever. That's total
control.
Transmission Control Unit (TCU)
TCU puts the —smart— in SmartShift®. It tells the AGS the precise time to change
gears for optimal performance in any condition. Plus, it protects the
transmission from accidental damage caused by poor shifting—extending the life
of the transmission.
Smooth Shifting
The Transmission Control Unit (TCU) controls the automated clutch actuator,
creating a smoother engagement than traditional clutches.
