  1. How do I get an Extranet ID?

    Employees: Employees can signup for Extranet IDs on the Employee Extranet Signup pages. This process will require you to enter your Detroit Diesel email address. This email address will be used to send you new Extranet ID and password.

    Detroit Diesel Affiliated Companies: Detroit Diesel's distributors, dealers, suppliers and customers can signup for Extranet IDs by completing an Extranet Subscription Agreement. This agreement will require your Detroit Diesel 5 or 10 digit company code. You will fill out a couple pages of information, print the pages, sign them, and fax them to the appropriate Detroit Diesel Representative.


  2. I've forgotten my password.  What do I do?

    If you have forgotten your password, click on Member Services on the left menu, click on the Login link, and then click on the Forgot Your Password? link at the bottom of the page. (You must have a valid email address in your profile to use this function.) If you do not have a valid email address, contact your Security Administrator or have your Security Administrator contact Extranet support at 313 592-5800.


  3. Where do I find the Security Administration and Extranet Agreement forms?

    These forms are available in the Member Services section.   Fill out the form online, print it out, get any required signatures and then fax it to the number on the bottom of the form.


  4. I am a security administrator, who do I contact at Detroit Diesel when I have questions or concerns?

    Any questions, concerns, or problems about extranet access should be directed to Detroit Diesel Extranet Support at 313 592-5800).


  5. What version of Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer are recommended for viewing the extranet?

    Windows 95 and Internet Explorer 4.0 with SP1 to guarantee a certain level of quality. If you are trying to get to the warranty area, these items are needed.


  6. How do I get to the Warranty area once I have an Extranet ID?

    Login to the Extranet. Click the "Home" link at the top of the page.  Click on the Enterprise Access graphic.  Note:  You must be logged in with a valid Extranet ID to have access to this area.


  7. How do I get to the Warranty area  if I do not have an Extranet ID but I do have PPP dial up?

    You will need a valid Extranet ID to get to the Warranty area. 


  8. How do I get access to the Detroit Diesel e-Parts Catalog?

    Contact Detroit Diesel Extranet Support at 313 592-5800 or send an email request to the webmaster at webmaster@detroitdiesel.com. They can help you gain access to the e-Parts Catalog.
