DD15™ Specifications
Technical Data
The DD15™ takes innovation to a whole new level. This impressive new engine delivers additional horsepower, increased fuel economy, on-demand power, reduced maintenance intervals and a smoother, cleaner ride.
Combining Power and Fuel Economy
- Unique Turbo Compound System converts wasted energy and boosts torque without sacrificing fuel.
- Adds up to 50 bonus horsepower1 while providing up to a 5% fuel savings2 over other leading engines.
1 Effectiveness of turbo compound is based on load on the engine. The turbo compound returns horsepower back to the engine’s flywheel.
2 Compared to a Detroit Diesel Series 60® EPA 2007 engine with comparable engine ratings and load weights.
